He drives the advancement of fortress-style security centered on AppGuard, delivering true cyber protection to enterprises, critical infrastructure, and public institutions worldwide.
Career:
Over two decades of cross-functional leadership in technology development, business strategy, and organizational management within the cybersecurity industry.
After overseeing enterprise business operations at a major security firm, he joined Blue Planet-works in 2017.
Since 2024, he has served as President & CEO, spearheading the global expansion of AppGuard’s innovative defense technology.

Yusuke Shigihara
Position: Director / Senior Security Advisor
As a Director and Senior Security Advisor at Blue Planet-works, Yusuke Shigihara is dedicated to promoting cybersecurity awareness through public outreach and lectures.
Drawing on his extensive field experience, he actively contributes to society as a security advisor for both private-sector CSIRTs and public institutions, helping to strengthen practical cybersecurity capabilities across industries.
Career:
At Internet Initiative Japan Inc. (IIJ), he optimized, designed, and constructed networks for government agencies.
Later, at Symantec Corporation, he engaged in cybersecurity education and awareness initiatives as a Security Advisor.
Since joining Blue Planet-works in 2020, he has been leading efforts to foster a strong security culture in Japan and beyond.

Tadashi Onizawa
Position: Director / Head of Sales Division
Leveraging his extensive experience in sales and deep understanding of the cybersecurity business, Tadashi Onizawa helps organizations strengthen their defensive capabilities so they can confidently go on the offensive.
Through AppGuard, he aims to spread a new common standard across society — a world where systems are never compromised.
Career:
At Fuji Xerox (now FUJIFILM Business Innovation Corp.), he spent many years in sales, contributing to customer value creation and business growth.
Later, he joined Digital Arts Inc., where he helped launch the FinalCode business and played a key role in expanding the company’s security operations.
Since joining Blue Planet-works in 2021, he has also served as President of IT Guard, a wholly owned subsidiary,
providing cybersecurity support for medical institutions and enterprises.
