AppGuard Co.,Ltd. was founded in Japan in 2017.
Our roots, however, trace back to an innovative security technology born in the United States.
By acquiring that business, we began our journey as a technology company expanding from Japan to the world.

In 2020, three years after our founding, we paused to reflect:
- What is the true mission of AppGuard?
- What kind of future do we envision?

To find the answers, members from around the world came together
—from executives to temporary staff, across different roles, cultures, and backgrounds — to confront these questions as one.
There were moments of lively debate and differing opinions, but in the end, one shared vision emerged
— a single ideal that united us all.

Out of that dialogue, our Purpose, Mission, and Vision of AppGuard were born.
